This knife has been handcrafted by Benchmade's talented employees to honor the function of one of mankind's oldest tools, and exemplify the tool's form with specially selected materials, designs and finishes. The 908-161 Gold Class Stryker II is built with premium materials and the addition of the AXIS lock adds a modern touch to this classic design. The action is incredibly smooth with flawless fit and finish. 
 
Benchmade used Damasteel for the blade enhanced with Odin Heim pattern. The blade can be deployed either via thumbstuds or by releasing the lock and wrist-flick. Once opened, the blade is held securely in place by the well-known Axis lock.
