The Decepticon 1 is perhaps the most sought after of the Decepticon series among the CKF collectors. They often fetch prices well above retail in the secondary market, even in used condition. They are also becoming harder and harder to source. But there is even a scarcer version of the Decepticon 1, the Black Edition. Originally released in 2014 in a 300 pieces run, with S35VN steel, the Black Edition is almost a rarity to come by today.

Custom Knife Factory has re-issued the Black Edition as a tribute to the original model. They are offered in a very limited run (about 100 Pieces only) for the true CKF collectors and knife connoisseur. This Decepticon 1 Black Edition is as exclusive as it gets in the Decepticon line and CKF models in general. The knife is also upgraded with the premium S90V steel as well as improved machining and overall fit and finish.
