The new CKF collaboration with Marfione Custom Knives gathers the expertise and knowledge of two great knife manufactures and their teams from different parts of the world around one table. Each company is putting up one of their most successful models to make this project a very unique one. A hybrid knife!
 
On one hand, we have the Socom from Microtech/Marfione; A knife that is regarded as one of the best tactical folders in production today. The Socom is a no-nonsense, robust and workhorse knife that will get the toughest jobs done. The Socom is a favourite of police & military personnel for its reliability when reliability means everything.
 
On the other hand, we have the Makosha (Veksha); A modern interpretation of a traditional knife that reframes the old school, manly and classic elements of a Russian pocket knife in a modern, high-tech form factor. The Makosha has the spirit & flair of a vintage knife, from the era where a man’s knife was an inseparable part of his daily life, while taking advantage of high-end materials and advanced manufacturing techniques of the 21st century.
 
So what can you expect when the American DNA of the Socom and the Russian spirit of the Makosha all come together into one knife? Sokosha is the answer.
 
The Sokosha is indeed one of the most unique models CKF has produced. It is the only sub-frame lock model in their long & versatile arsenal of knives. The much-debated sub-frame lock (read up on Marfione vs ZT Knives) offers the strength & longevity of a frame lock mechanism and clean appearance & replaceability of a liner lock. The handle is heavily influenced by the Socom in overall form, but the traction inserts are replaced by high-quality grooved marbled carbon fiber inserts.
 
The blade on the other hand takes its shape from the Maoksha with a sweeping belly & traditional drop point. The two-tone blade is razor sharp, flicks open with ease and drops shut silky smooth. The large backspacer covers most of the spine. The oversized pocket clip screw incorporates a glass breaker as well. The Sokosha comes with two pocket clips, a full Zircuti clip and a titanium clip engraved with both companies' markings. It also includes a full set of spare hardware, microfiber cloth and certificate of authenticity.
 
Each knife is individually numbered and the serial number on the knife you will receive may be different to the knife in the listing photos.
