The Farko knife is the first knife in CKF's new line of products called the MKAD. The strategy behind the MKAD line was to design and produce knives for the AU$200 - AU$350 sector. The challenge however, was to do so without compromising the CKF's outstanding reputation in producing high-end knives. Challenge accepted!
 
CKF brought their team of prominent designers including Alexey Konygin, Alex Vorobyov, Anton Malyshev and Evegniy Muan together to work on the MKAD project. The result was Farko, an exceptionally well priced knife that is here to put the heat on the competition.
 
The Farko features Bohler M390 drop point blade. M390 is highly regarded as one of the best knife steels in the market for its excellent edge retention, wear resistance and corrosion resistance qualities. The blade is deployed via the titanium thumb studds. The deployment is as fast as smooth as any flipper knife, thanks to ball bearing washer pivot system. The Farko could also be deployed like the front flipper.
 
The handle features a titanium lock side with framelock mechanism and stainless steel lockbar insert. The presentation side sports a beatiful G-10 handle with black carbon fiber twill laminate. For an extra touch of beauty, the backspacer, thumb stud and pocket clip are all blue anodised titanium.
 
Overall, the Farko is a very comfortable in hand, well designed and made with the best materials available. In terms of value for money, Farko is not to be beaten with features like M390 steel, titanium frame, backspacer & thumb stud, carbon fiber laminated G-10 and ball bearing washers.
 
If that was not enough, The Farko comes with a whole set of spare hardware including screws, pivot, ball bearing washers, blade stop pin, and even a spare pocket clip and spare thumb studs! You also get a high quality zippered carry bag with micro fiber cloth and certificate of authenticity.
