A Very Rare and Collectable CKF Model
 
This is a rare opportunity to own a highly collectible Prototype Ratata. Only a handful of these knives were ever made prior to the #001 and were exclusively offered to popular bloggers and Youtubers in late 2016. We are pleased to present to you this discontinued and scarce prototype knife, acquired directly from CKF from their reserve inventory.
 
The Ratata is the smaller brother of the famous and highly successful T-90 designed by Alexey Konygin. Ratata takes its name from Alexey Konygin's nickname "Ratatuy". Alexey is well known for his futuristic design "Decepticon" which was also produced by CKF. He continued his innovative design with the Ratata.
 
Ratata (and before that T-90) became an instant hit with fans and collectors. They are known to be one of the lightest and easiest to carry knives ever made; especially when considering that they are actually large size and the structure is full titanium. This is where Alexey's magic comes into play. The heavily milled and sculpted design with a large cut-out window and internal pockets were more than aesthetic features. They reduce weight significantly to the point the knife of this calibre weight only 120g.
 
The Ratata is also known for one of the best flipper tab designs and a silky smooth action. The flipper tab is positioned at a 45 degree angle and is so small it's hardly notable. yet it can flip the blade open effortlessly. When the blade is open, the flipper blend in with the handle and becomes almost invisible.
 
Overall Ratata is a beautiful and well-built knife that can add value to your collection. The knife comes with the famous tri-coloured pouch, microfiber cloth and certificate of authenticity.
