The CKF SM-Special is a limited run of only 200 knives designed by the talented Russian designer, Alexey Vorobyov. This knife is truly special, rich in clever details and packed with amazing features. The knife profile is slim, sleek and gentlemanly. The show side features a marbled carbon fiber inlay, fixed with internal screws for a cleaner appearance. 
 
Subtle details are thoughtfully incorporated into the design, making this knife a very unique piece. The large backspacer covering the entire spine of the handle features millings that are matched on the spine of the blade. The titanium pocket clip is reversible for tip up or tip down carry. A cover plate hides the extra screw holes for even cleaner look and has the CKF logo inscribed in it. The lanyard hole has three spacer pins inside that allows you to loop the paracord lanyard around them internally, rather than going around the outside. This allows a clean and unobstructed way of adding a lanyard which is unique to this knife.
 
The SM-Special has an interchangeable flipper system. The knife is supplied with 3 deployment mechanisms that can be easily detached/swapped using a Torx screw. The first flipper tab which is mounted on the blade (depicted in the listing) is fitted with a gorgeous Zircuti ball bearing. A second flipper tab is also included that has a slot for adding Tritium vial if you wish. The 3rd deployment option is a flipper delete tab for manual deployment. This allows the knife to be carried in countries that do not allow flipper knives. 
 
The CKF SM-Special comes with a phenomenal action straight out of the box. The combination of stainless steel linerlock and light detent, as well as caged ceramic bearings offers a smooth & snappy deployment and drop shut closing action. 
 
As usual, the CKF SM-Special comes with a full set of spare hardware, a spare titanium pocket clip and extra flipper tabs packed elegantly in a high quality pouch along with certificate card and microfiber cloth. A Torx bit driver is also included for your convenience.
