Laulima Metal Craft is a collaboration between Mitch Lum and Joshua Dawson. The Malihini is codesigned; Josh machines the body, head and light engine "pill" in his shop in Missouri and Mitch builds the lights engine, assembles and tests each light in Oregon.
 
The Malihini is the first collaboration between Mitch and Joshua and was an instant hit in the flashlight community upon release. The body is beautifully machined from copper in a dots & ribs pattern which is blackened to add a nice contrast. The copper has developped a mouth-watering natural patina that torch enthusiast spend years to achieve without forcing patina, which usually yields inferior results. The pocket clip is milled from titanium, with matching two-tone finish and pattern.
 
The Malihini benefit from the industry leading H17F driver which has great programming capabilities, including battery and temperature monitoring. The 219c emitter (4000K) is a darling among the torch lovers and Malihini packs three of them. It also comes with a host of other class leading features such as the Carclo optics, Saphire glass, McClicky switch and Prometheus toxic green cap.
