Pohan Leu has been making custom knives since 2003. He is well known for his superior edge geometry that make his knives some of the best cutting tool on the planet. The most iconic model from Pohan Leu, and one he is best known for is the Hamachi. A Japanese inspired kwaiken style folder with clean aesthetics and utilitarian design.
 
This particular Hamachi is truly special, handmade by a gifted artisan and loaded with top-shelf materials and custom touches. The blade is made from S35VN steel in tanto style. The front bolster is made from Timascus with stunning colours and pattern. The front scale is marbled carbon fiber.
 
The lockside is made of titanium with a bead blasted, tumbled finish, adorned by a beautiful Timascus pocket clip. The backspacer is made of carbon fiber to match the handle scale. The pivot and hardware screws are all blue anodised titanium for a subtle and classy contrast.
