The SOG Arcitech is part of SOG's Platinum Line and is one of the most unique knives on the market today with a combination of mechanical brilliance and futuristic design. This gentlemans folder offers a plethora of unique features in a compact, lightweight and easy to carry package.
 
The start of the show is the gorgeous Japanese VG-10 core Damascus blade, made of 15 layers of nickel and stainless steels forged and folded together over & over again to create this striking pattern. The blade is then acid etched to bring this pattern to life. The reversible stainless steel thumb stud is jewelled with a natural abalone insert.
 
The polished titanium bolsters houses the silky smooth Arc-Lock Mechanism and set against the matte black hardware for a pleasing contrast. The carbon fiber scales are finely textured to offer better grip while maintaining a gentlemanly appearance. The spine of the knife is adorned with a beautifully hand-filed titanium backspacer.
 
The Arc-Lock far surpasses conventional lock strength, tested at over 1000 pounds of force measured at the lock in an independent lab test. This is while being one of the smoothest locking mechanisms that we have ever tried on a knife.
